Sermons (1768-1805), many concerning the American Revolution, but some also delivered before and afterwards, often patriotic in nature; correspondence; petition to Congress (1791) concerning a Revolutionary monument; account book (1751-1785); Constitution of Massachusetts, annotated and signed by Clarke; inventory of real and personal property (1805); and other papers. Includes letter from Clarke accepting call from the church at Lexington (1755 July 2); extracts from town records concerning supply for Clarke when his family had smallpox; address by Rev. Carlton Staples on the anniversary of the ordination of Rev.
